Pete S. Fernandes was born in India and grew up in Nigeria. Prior to joining the firm, Pete interned at the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel in Fort Myers, Florida. Pete received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, cum laude, from Cleveland State University. He then continued his education at Ave Maria School of Law. 

While in law school, Pete served as Vice President of the Moot Court Board, Vice President of the Black Law Student Association, Secretary for the Latino Law Student Association, and was a Student Ambassador for Ave Law’s Admission’s department. He also earned a CALI award in Law Practice and Technology.

Pete is passionate about oral advocacy and during his time at Ave Law he was part of the Mock Trial Team, and also won multiple Brief writing awards, as well as a Moot Court Competition.Pete was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2021 and has since been an associate attorney at Seidensticker & San Filippo, where he focuses on a variety of civil litigation matters, including contract and business disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, real estate and real estate deposit disputes, and personal injury.
